What a busy month I've had! I'm only now getting caught up on blogging due to a small reprieve of having one child out of school this week. I'm so looking forward to the end of May! My workload will slow way down then and my sanity can return too. Life has just been way too busy right now. Just hanging on and trying to enjoy the ride!
Let's start with Easter! We spent a few days at the beach celebrating my birthday and Easter. What a wonderful break that was!
The kids looked so cute here as they lined up for one last photo before the Egg hunt began.
Emily loved using the tongs to put the eggs in the dye and pull them out. She really got into dyeing the eggs. She's just a crack up!
The boys also had a blast. They dyed a total of 30 eggs and ate 28 eggs before the trip was over!
On Easter morning we had a yummy breakfast of powdered sugar dusted french toast, chicken apple sausage and fruit. After breakfast the kids very excitedly opened their Easter baskets.
Emily's first Easter egg hunt at the beach! She did really good and found just as many eggs as her older brothers and cousin. She really enjoyed the hunt and wanted to carry her basket of eggs around all day. Way to go Emily!
